The bluetooth connection from my phone to my car was working fine to talk on the phone from my car, to receive text messages from car and to listen to videos from my phone to my car. Aug 28, 2013 Mazda 3 Bluetooth stopped working. How can I fix it? Contact Mazda Hands-Free System Customer Care at 800 (NNN) NNN-NNNN explain symptom, and ask for their instruction. With their approval, replace the Bluetooth unit (telephone adapter) with a new one. Intermittently, bluetooth drops out, and radio stops playing.

Bluetooth® is the name of a wireless technology which allows compatible electronic devices to interact via short-range radio waves.
- How do I answer a call using Bluetooth®?
TO ANSWER A PHONE CALL:
1. After set-up is complete, your phone needs to be in the vehicle and turned on, with the Bluetooth® functionality enabled. You can now answer calls without touching the phone.
2. When the hands-free system lets you know a call is coming in, available call ID information will be displayed.
3. Press the “PHONE PICK-UP” button on the steering wheel if you want to accept the call. The audio system automatically switches to hands-free mode. Begin talking.
4. Press the 'PHONE HANG-UP' button on the steering wheel when you are finished with your call.
- How do I make a call using Bluetooth®?
TO PLACE A PHONE CALL:

5. After the beep, say “yes” if the number is correct. If it is not, say 'no', and the system will prompt you to re-enter the number you would like to call.
6. After your conversation, press the “PHONE HANG-UP” button. The audio system automatically returns to its prior mode.
- What is the quality level of Bluetooth® performance during a phone call?
Bluetooth® uses your cellular phone service to communicate. If your cellphone has low signal strength or experiences static, then so will the Bluetooth® system.

- Where can I find “voice training” commands that help Bluetooth® recognize my voice better?
To activate the voice training feature within the handsfree system, press the phone button and wait for the beep, then say 'voice training'. The system will then guide you through the process.
- How should I speak when using the voice-recognition feature of the hands-free system?
Speak in a normal voice, not too fast, too slow, or too loud. When speaking a contact’s name, speak in a fluid manner. Do not pause between first and last names.

- I am having trouble reconnecting or re-pairing my phone to the hands-free system. What should I do?
Delete the handsfree system from the Bluetooth® menu on your phone and delete your phone from the Bluetooth® menu on the hands-free system. Follow appropriate procedures to connect or pair your phone.
