The Mk3 Focus builds on Ford’s ‘kinetic’ design concept with a low profile bonnet and wraparound lights. Only available as a Hatchback or Estate in the UK. Safety features include door side impact bars, airbags for the driver and front seat passenger, side airbags, head airbags, whiplash protection system, and an advanced seat belt system with pretensioners and load limiters. Engines, dubbed ‘EcoBoost’ by Ford, include a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder engine, and an updated version of the previous Ti-VCT 1.6-litre engine.
